Outdoor Baptism

All I have to say is "wow". I have never been to an outdoor baptism before, much less presided over one. I cannot describe to you how incredible it was for me to stand in that water and see all those people standing on the shore watching and rejoicing as people were baptised in the name of the Father that Son and the Holy Spirit...raised to walk in newness of life! As the baptised emerged out of the water people clapped and applauded and some raised their voices in praise...it was a true celebration. I will never forget this as long as I live. Even after we get into the new building we may continue to do this from time to time. I will post some pics here sometime this week.
