Winter Weather Advisory and Church Services

I just watched the weather report and it said that we could have 6-12 inches of snow Saturday night.  I love snow and winter weather.  But I would rather it not be on Sundays.

So.......

To those of you who read my blog on a regular basis.  I would like your assistance with something.  I need all of you to help me communicate to the church body how they can find out if we will be having church services on Sundays (such as this Sunday) when there is a winter weather advisory.

There are three places church members can go for information regarding the cancellation of church services when there is the threat of inclement weather:

1) call the church office and check the greeting on the church voice-mail.  This will be the most likely place people will go for information.  I will always attempt to put information here.  However, this requires me to make a trip to the church...so sometimes this may not be possible.

2) check my blog as this is the easiest way for me to post information for people to view and will be the first place I post information regarding the cancellation of services.

3) visit the church website.  We will put it on the home page.  Though this may be hard to accomplish sometimes, as well.

We will make every effort to place information on all three of these sources as soon as a decision is made.  We will attempt to ensure that information is always on at least two of these sources.  If no announcements are made by 7am on Sunday mornings, this will mean that we are having services.

Please copy and past this information into an e-mail and send it out to as many people in our church family as possibly, and ask others to do the same.

Have a great weekend, stay warm, I hope to see you all on Sunday.
