Singles on Mission

This past weekend was incredible. Myself and 20 singles traveled to Charleston for a mission trip. We had an opportunity to see God in action. I am completely overwhelmed at the success of this trip. This was my last trip with the singles and it could not have been better.

Friday the singles assisted the Charleston Baptist Association with the construction of a roof for a fellow named Anthony who has been homeless for several years because his house was destroyed. We hung 25 roof trusses in one day. The singles worked like crazy! Saturday we hosted a block party in the inner city of Charleston where we had close to 300 people attend. But, Sunday was the capstone of the weekend. We went door to door sharing the Gospel and had an opportunity to lead several people to Jesus.

I am so proud of my singles and how hard they worked this weekend. I am truly going to miss each of them very much. They were so flexible this weekend and allowed themselves to be used by God to touch many, many lives...including mine. I was overcome with joy to see each of them do God's work in Charleston.

Check back soon and I will post some pic's
