Just me and Samson

My sweet wife is gone this week to spend time in SC with her brother Brent who is home from Iraq on his R and R.  It is just me and Samson (our little 6 pound dog) at the house this week.  Samson is pitiful without his momma.  He mopes around and sleeps all day.  When I get in from work he wakes up just long enough to run around the house looking for Kelly.  When he realizes that she is still not back he goes back to bed, depressed.

However, I think I am going to send Kelly out of town more often.  I have had several people offer to feed me while Kelly is away.  If I had taken everybody up on their offers I would be twice the man I was before Kelly left. :)  

On another note, I though this past Sunday went exceptionally well.  We were much better prepared for the crowd this time.  I want to say thank you to all of you who parked in alternate areas in order to make room for our guests.  Praise the Lord for the parking lot across from "Keiths" as well as the grassy area behind the parking lot.  Without them, we would not have enough parking.
