This coming Sunday

I am looking for this coming Sunday to be another great Sunday for WBC. Though we will likely not have as many people in church as we did last Sunday during our grand opening, I expect that we will still be significantly up in attendance. Most of you have received my letter in the mail by now concerning Worship, Sunday School, and Parking.

Parking - this is our most immediate need as we do not have a sufficient number of parking spaces to accommodate our increasing worship attendance. However, this is no cause of concern as long as we can get people to park in "Keiths" gravel lot or in the grassy area behind our current parking lot. With this in mind, we have PLENTY of parking. But we need those of you who are church members to park in these areas.

Worship - I would also like to ask many of you to switch from the 11am service to the 8:30am service. This will help us to continue to build momentum at the 8:30 service as well as create space at the 11am service.

Bible Study - getting people from the pew to the Sunday School class is vital for a) our church growth b) most importantly - discipling people and helping them to live the life Jesus lived. I hope you will help me to incorporate new people into Bible Study so that we can help them to CONNECT with our church and GROW as disciples of Jesus. If we do this effectively we will have a need to create new Sunday School Classes as well as a new Sunday School hour.
